A Beacon of Innovation and Excellence in the Realm of Sonar Systems and Control and Instrumentation Nestled on the picturesque banks of Vembanad Lake in Alappuzha district, Keltron Controls Aroor (KCA) has been a pioneering force in the field of Control and Instrumentation (C&I) since 1979. As a division of KSEDC, KCA has evolved into a leading manufacturer of strategic electronic products and systems for the defence sector, particularly for the Indian Navy.  

Keltron Equipment Complex specializes in various sectors including Power Electronics, Security and Surveillance, Special Products, and Space Electronics. The Power Electronics Group leads in designing and developing high-capacity UPS systems and battery chargers for critical industries, including nuclear power. The Security and Surveillance Group provides turnkey solutions for IP-based CCTV, access control, and threat detection systems. The Special Products Group supplies indigenously manufactured military-grade equipment for Indian Naval ships and submarines.

KELTRON presents a range of LED lighting systems for various applications. These lighting systems are manufactured by Keltron Lighting Division, a state-of-the-art facility at Mudadi, Kozhikode, that integrates advanced LED sources, driver technologies, optics and design to produce world-class luminaries. The R&D effort has been focused on reducing energy consumption, extending life and maximizing illumination performance. The unit also manufactures the highly acclaimed hearing aid-Shravan

 

Keltron Tool Room Cum Training Center (KTTC), Kuttippuram has Fully equipped facility to offer training as well as to take up Production Works in Hi-tech machines such as CNC Lathes, High Precision and High Speed Vertical Machining Centres, CNC Wire EDM, Jig Grinder, Lathe and Milling Machines; Precision Conventional and all purpose Machines; Test and Metrology equipment including CNC 3D CMM; PCs and Software for CAD/CAM Design, Modeling, Programming, Analysis and Manufacturing.

 

Keltron Component Complex Ltd. (KCCL) was established on 8th October 1974 in technical collaboration with M/s. Sprague Electromag, Belgium for manufacture of Aluminium Electrolytic Capacitors. KCCL went into commercial production on 19th August 1978. Since then KCCL has grown and now is the biggest manufacturer of Aluminium Electrolytic Capacitors in India. The first super capacitor manufacturing facility in the country that has been setup in the complex and Inugurated on 1st October 2024

The company started functioning in the year 1974. Production of Ceramic Capacitors was started during 1978.  Subsequently NTC Thermistors, Metal Oxide Varistors and Buzzers were added to the product range.  As a part of diversification, the company entered into the manufacturer of Transducers/Hydrophones with technical knowhow from NPOL (Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory), Cochin. Today it manufactures almost every sensor for under water sensing system. Every sonar of the Indian Navy has transducer from this facility.
